Veuve Clicquot honoured their top 20 Shining Stars this week, and whether or not these ladies are your top shining stars in South Africa, you can’t deny that each of them hold it down in their respective fields and are inspiring in one way or another.
Here are my personal favourites as well as reasons why I love each of them.
I adore Lerato’s tenacity, perseverance and hard work. She has come so far since her Soweto TV days and I have personally watched her grow from level to level. Besides TV presenting, she is a Metro FM host, an MC and a successful DJ. 😍
I love Nomzamo’s girl-next-door aura that she exudes. Although she’s very well known and is doing awesomely well, she doesn’t give off the ‘Diva’ vibe at all. She’s super relatable and loves to laugh. When I look at her, I know that it’s possible. Nomzamo is an award winning actress, MC and a brand ambassador for international brands.😍
This lady is just inspiring! And I’m not saying this because of how far she has come in the entertainment industry, but because of her Twitter posts. Ayanda is a God girl and posts empowering tweets all the time. It’s always great to have a celebrity who is a role model that young girls can look up to without being mislead. Ayanda is a business woman, an actress and a television host. 😍💙💜
Is there any other celebrity that you feel should have been on the list? Which are your personal favourites?
Comment below and I’ll be sure to respond.
