2017 Reflections

Hi Lovelies,

I don’t know about you but I cannot believe that there are only 21 days left before this year is over. I’ve been noticing just how time seems to be flying through, and it scares me to think that I’ll be 24 in just a month and a few days. ๐Ÿ™ Damn, 24 just seems old…

Looking back though, this year has been one of the good ones for me. So many unexpected things happened, and I can honestly say that I am proud of the woman that I have become, and I am happy about the lessons that I’ve been taught throughout the year.

I appreciate the headspace that I am currently in, despite all the challenges that life has thrown, and is still throwing at me. I still have a long way to go in terms of achieving my goals before I get to 25, but damn, a girl is super ecstatic about how far she has come. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am financially independent, I got myself a car, I partnered with 2 important ladies in my life, to get an even bigger thing which is currently underway, – I will share the news with you early next year – and I am finally confident in myself.

Some of the not so great things that I would like to leave in 2017 though, are downplaying myself and not being consistent with blogging. I have so many cool concepts for this blog, but I’ve been so lazy to “get to steppin'”. I want to stop making excuses and start doing the things! (Knowamshayin’?) So I am going to draft and implement a timetable, and push myself to stick to it, because I don’t want to be the reason I’m not reaching for the stars.

I think 2018 is going to be an even better year and I hope that this time next year, my reflection post will be full of postives, and I will be even more proud of how far I have come.

Love,
Rose Kgolane
