Nothing compares to the feeling you get when you purchase a product and you actually love it. Times are getting tougher with the rand weakening and petrol increasing literally every month. But when you actually spend your coint on something that’s worth it, it makes parting with your money a little easier.
On this blog post, I’m going to be telling you about some of the products that I’m currently loving and why, how much they are and where you can get them.
- African Extracts Rooibos Toner and 3-in-1 Wash, Scrub & Mask
After a long day at work, the last thing I feel like doing is going all out to remove my makeup. Usually I’ll go in with facial wipes, and follow that up with the African Extracts Toner. The toner is designed to reduce spots and outbreaks. This toner soothes my skin and leaves it feeling fresh.
On days where my skin feels oily, I use the 3-in-1 Wash, Scrub & Mask to really get rid of dead skin cells and toxins, and make way for new skin cells.
Both these products are R118,00 and you can find both at any Dis-Chem and selected Clicks stores.
2. Clicks Super Tampons for Medium and Heavy Flow
If you’re a frequent reader of my blog, you know that I’m a tampon girl. I love tampons because they allow me to be free all day and night, and I avoid unnecessary sweatiness and silly accidents. I especially love the Clicks Super tampons because they are very comfortable and the 32 pack ones last me for two months, meaning I get to save a little. They are only R39,99.
3. Clicks Pantyliners (Value pack)
Okay, Pink Tax is real, so if I can get a value pack on everything, best believe I’ll take that up. These are so affordable, and they last me for three and a half months. 🙂 They are also unscented meaning that they are 100% safe to use for my lady part. They are also only R39,99.
4. Essence Matt Touch Blush and Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara
I actually won both of these products from a YouTube competition, I’m in love. The blush in the colour Rose Me Up, literally looks like it’s radiating from my skin and the mascara makes me look like I have falsies, which I love. I’m thankful to Lebo Kuty for introducing me to the affordable yet great quality product brand that is Essence.
5. LA Girl Pro Conceal Concealer in Toffee
LA girl is fast becoming the best concealer on the planet (according to me). It gives me full coverage, is the right amount of thick and it lasts all day if topped off with some powder. I don’t ever see myself using any other concealer to be honest. This baby is only R62,00 at Dis-Chem.
There’s really no need to go for the most expensive products. The trick is to find a product that works for you, at a price that’s good for your pocket.
Comment and let me know which product you love, and why?
